Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has revealed that a woman he and fellow rapper Odumodublvck were seeing was at the center of their long-running feud.
The revelation comes amid the bitter fallout between the two former collaborators, which began publicly escalating in 2025. At the time, Odumodublvck insisted that their disagreement went beyond music.
Speaking in an interview with media personality Rufai Oseni, Blaqbonez said he did not know the woman was also involved with Odumodublvck when he met her.
According to him, he initially considered the woman a friend with benefits because they were friends who were intimate but had never made their relationship official.
Blaqbonez said the situation escalated after Odumodublvck accused him of disturbing his girlfriend.
He explained that after learning the woman was Odumodublvck’s partner, he stopped communicating with her and tried to stay out of the situation.
“I didn’t know that the girl was with Odumodublvck,” Blaqbonez said, adding that he later discovered who she was involved with and avoided further contact with her.
He said Odumodublvck subsequently asked when he last had intercourse with the woman, but he declined to answer because he did not want to interfere in their relationship.
Blaqbonez said the disagreement eventually led Odumodublvck to declare them enemies.
The revelation comes weeks after Odumodublvck publicly accused Blaqbonez of sexual abuse and alleged that members of the music industry were shielding him. Blaqbonez rejected the allegations as false and defamatory and said he was taking legal steps to protect his reputation. The allegations remain disputed and have not been established in court.
The two rappers, who were previously close collaborators, have since become embroiled in one of Nigeria’s most publicized music industry rivalries.
