Rangers International defender Oputa Chibueze Calistus has been named the club’s Player of the Month for September 2026 after securing 627 votes in a fan poll.
The Enugu-based club announced Oputa as the winner on its official social media platforms, praising his consistency, work rate and performances in the team’s colors.
Oputa beat seven teammates to the award, including Igwilo Chimaobi, Azeez Falolu, Daniel Itodo, Austin Opara, Iwundu Chidozie, Abuchi Okereke and Lucky Jimoh.
Meanwhile, Igwilo Chimaobi won Rangers’ Goal of the Month award for September, securing 96.7 per cent of the votes.
Oputa will look to maintain his form as the Flying Antelopes continue their campaign in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
