35 Years On, Katsina HoS Bawale Set to Retire

The Katsina State Executive Council has held a valedictory session for the Head of Service, Alhaji Falalu Bawale, as he prepares to retire after 35 years in public service.

The session was held on Thursday at the Muhammadu Buhari House, Government House, Katsina, shortly before the 13th State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Dikko Umaru Radda.

Bawale was appointed Head of Service in April 2024, succeeding Alhaji Usman Isyaku, who retired after 35 years in service.

Other lawmakers honored at the session were Ya’u Ahmed Nowa, Mustapha Kanti Bello, Jamila Abdu Maigoyo, and Hamza Suleiman Faskari, while Aminu Lawal Maye Jibia, who contested for the Katsina State House of Assembly, was also recognized.

The farewell session allowed council members to appreciate the contributions of the outgoing officials and wish them success in their future endeavors.

The council thereafter proceeded with its 13th meeting to consider issues relating to the development and progress of the state.
