RCCG Tension? Founder’s Daughter Shuts Down Viral Claims

Titilayo Akindayomi-Adewale, daughter of the founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has dismissed reports alleging she criticized senior pastors or campaigned for the preservation of her father’s legacy.

In a statement shared on Monday, she described the claims as false and urged the public to disregard them, stressing that the remarks attributed to her did not originate from her in any form.

Akindayomi-Adewale said her father, Pa Josiah Akindayomi, valued spiritual impact over material recognition, noting that his legacy lies in transformed lives rather than physical structures.

She added that he never encouraged the pursuit of wealth or public honor, recalling his reluctance to own personal property due to his beliefs.

According to her, the reports were intended to create unnecessary division within the church and distract from its ongoing work.

She also reaffirmed her support for RCCG leadership, offering prayers for the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and his family.
