Big Brother Naija Season 4 winner, Mercy Eke, has revealed that she regrets participating in the reality TV show, despite the opportunities it brought her.
Speaking on Toke Moments, a show hosted by Toke Makinwa, Eke said the fame that followed her victory in 2019 has made it difficult to live a peaceful life.
“I regret going to Big Brother, even though I love the benefits,” she said, citing constant public scrutiny and pressure as major challenges.
Eke explained that being in the spotlight often affects her mental well-being, noting that comparisons and public attention sometimes disrupt her sleep.
The reality star also reflected on her return for the All Stars edition, admitting she joined mainly for the prize but found the experience unexpectedly intense.
According to her, many contestants appeared more driven despite already being financially stable.
Eke stated she would not return to the show again.
On life after BBNaija, she said she remains focused on personal growth, setting goals, and drawing inspiration from successful Nigerian women.
She also dismissed rumors about her lifestyle being funded by a married man, clarifying that she has been in a relationship with a single partner for four years.
Eke, who recently completed a master’s degree in the United Kingdom, added that the experience improved her understanding of financial management.
