Wike’s Support Will Deliver Kwara for Tinubu, Says AbdulRazaq

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has predicted that supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state will back President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, citing the influence of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

AbdulRazaq spoke when the Director-General of Tinubu’s presidential campaign, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, visited the Kwara State Government House.

The governor estimated that the APC controls 70 per cent of the state’s political support, while the PDP accounts for 30 per cent.

He argued that Wike’s support for Tinubu, despite being a prominent PDP figure, would bring the two blocs together behind the president.

“This means it will be one of the easiest states because the two main parties are voting for President Tinubu,” AbdulRazaq said.

His prediction comes ahead of the 2027 general election, although the governor’s estimates do not establish how voters will ultimately cast their ballots.
