Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has dismissed claims that she is suffering from arthritis after a video of her dancing surfaced online.
The actress, in an Instagram post, questioned how critics linked her movements to the condition, insisting that she remains strong, active, and energetic.
Edochie said she had been travelling and standing for hours while promoting her movie, adding that she was surprised that critics could only associate her activity with arthritis.
“Can their mothers ever be as strong, active, energetic, and flexible as I am? Impossible!” she wrote.
She also accused her critics of being jealous because she was trending, while warning against cyberbullying and its potential impact on people’s mental health.
Edochie said she would continue using social media and sharing updates with her followers despite the criticism.
