Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has revealed that she has been battling severe pain and mobility difficulties for several months, as she marked her 25th birthday in a wheelchair.
The actress disclosed this in a birthday video shared on Instagram on Saturday, October 10, 2026, explaining that her health condition had worsened over time and contributed to her prolonged absence from social media.
Daniels said the problem began as a minor issue but took a turn for the worse after the last Children’s Day carnival she hosted. She added that repeated medical tests and severe pain had sometimes left her unable to walk.
“For several months now, I lost my freedom to move around as I please,” she said, describing the experience as physically and emotionally difficult.
However, the actress expressed gratitude for what she described as significant progress in her recovery while praying for healing as she begins a new chapter in her life.
Her revelation comes amid public attention surrounding her reported marital difficulties with Senator Ned Nwoko. However, she did not link those issues to her health condition in the birthday video.
