Rangers International have urged supporters to turn out in large numbers for their CAF Champions League second preliminary round first-leg match against Algeria’s MC Alger on Sunday.

The match will take place at the Moshood Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta, with kick-off scheduled for 2 p.m. Nigerian time.
The club’s General Manager and Chief Executive Officer, Amobi Ezeaku, called on Nigerians to support the team, saying a strong fan turnout would boost the players’ morale and help them secure a favourable result ahead of the return leg in Algeria.
Ezeaku described the encounter as an opportunity for Rangers to represent Enugu State and Nigeria proudly on the continental stage.
The Flying Antelopes booked their place in the second preliminary round after defeating Benin Republic’s Sobemap 4-3 on penalties, following a 2-2 aggregate draw.
The first leg is part of the 2026/27 CAF Champions League second preliminary round, scheduled for October 16–18, with return fixtures set for October 23–25.
