Popular Nigerian TikToker, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has alleged that incidents of phone theft and a reported road accident disrupted activities outside the venue of his traditional wedding in Lagos.
Speaking during a livestream, the content creator said the situation outside the event contrasted with the celebration inside, where guests gathered for the ceremony.
Peller claimed that suspected hoodlums, commonly referred to as “agberos,” crowded the area and were responsible for multiple phone snatching incidents. He also alleged that some guests were affected shortly after arriving at the venue.
He further stated that he later received reports of a road accident near the venue while the ceremony was ongoing, describing the overall atmosphere outside as chaotic.
The TikToker added that the experience has influenced his plans for his upcoming white wedding, which is scheduled to hold on August 8, 2026, alongside his partner, fellow content creator Jarvis.
