Henry Okoye, elder brother to Nigerian music stars Peter and Paul Okoye of the defunct P-Square duo, has expressed doubts about the possibility of a reconciliation between the twins amid their renewed dispute.

Speaking in an interview in Plateau State, Henry said the prolonged conflict may have caused lasting damage to their relationship, despite efforts by Peter to resolve their differences.
“I will be happy for them to come back together, but I don’t think it will happen,” he said, describing Paul as once “a very kind person” whose recent actions have surprised him.
Henry also appealed to Paul to forgive Peter, recalling how Peter supported him during a past illness by covering his medical bills.
The latest comments come against the backdrop of a long-running feud involving the twins and their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye. The dispute, which initially led to P-Square’s split in 2017, resurfaced after a brief reunion in 2021 that later collapsed in 2024.
Tensions escalated when Peter accused Paul of aligning with Jude against him and alleged financial mismanagement tied to the group’s royalties. He specifically claimed that a company, Northside Music Limited, linked to Jude, was receiving funds meant for P-Square.
Paul has denied the allegations and publicly defended Jude, blaming Peter for the legal challenges facing their brother.
Jude was later arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over alleged financial offences involving multiple currencies. He pleaded not guilty, while the case continues in court.
In a related court proceeding in 2026, Peter acknowledged being a co-signatory to one of the company accounts, contradicting his earlier claim that Jude had sole control.
Despite the ongoing legal and public disputes, Henry urged all parties to put aside their differences and restore family unity, saying he has forgiven everyone involved.
His remarks mark the latest intervention by a family member seeking to end the prolonged conflict that has kept the iconic music duo apart.
