Former Sierra Leone international Michael Lahoud has rated Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen among the top three strikers in Europe.
Lahoud made the claim while assessing Galatasaray’s chances in the Champions League this season on the CBS Sports Golazo Network.
The former midfielder believes Osimhen and new teammate Rafael Leao could be the difference-makers for the Turkish champions as they target a place in the top eight of the Champions League league phase.
“Galatasaray has arguably the best striker in Europe right now alongside Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe and Victor Osimhen,” Lahoud said.
He added that the arrival of Leao gives Galatasaray an “X factor” and backed the club to finish among the top eight in the league phase.
“Galatasaray will finish the Champions League league phase in the top eight this season,” he said.
Leao recently left AC Milan for Galatasaray after seven seasons with the Italian club.
