Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has dismissed claims that she has reconciled with her estranged husband, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.
The speculation, which gained traction on July 17, followed the circulation of an old video showing the former couple sharing an affectionate moment at a nightclub. The clip quickly sparked rumours online that the pair had rekindled their relationship.
Reacting via her Instagram Stories on Monday, Annie clarified that the footage was outdated and misleading. “Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.
The actress’ statement effectively shuts down the rumours, reaffirming that the video does not reflect any recent development between the two.
Annie and 2Baba, who share two daughters, ended their marriage in January 2025 after over a decade together. The singer has since remarried, tying the knot with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
