Nigerian talent manager Ubi Franklin has described having children with different women as one of the biggest mistakes of his life, urging young people to avoid similar choices.

Speaking on a recent episode of his podcast Talks with Ubi Franklin, the father of four said that while he deeply loves his children, managing relationships with their mothers has been the most challenging aspect.
“Taking care of them is not the problem,” Franklin said. “It is managing the emotions of the adults who are their mothers.”
He stressed that financial stability does not eliminate the emotional complexities involved, warning that such situations can become difficult to navigate.
Franklin advised young people to be intentional about their decisions, cautioning against what he described as “baby mama drama.”
“If I had the chance to make that decision again, I would take a different path,” he added, while emphasizing that children remain “the best thing” in life.
In a post accompanying the podcast clip, he noted that he shared his experience to encourage others to make better life choices.
Franklin was previously married to actress Lilian Esoro in 2015; the marriage ended in 2016. They share a son. He has three other children from different relationships and has previously spoken about battling depression following his separation.
