Nigerian singer Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa-Donus, popularly known as Joeboy, has revealed that he is open to getting married early but would keep his marriage private.

The 29-year-old singer made this known in an interview with British media personality Madame Joyce, saying he likes the idea of marrying young and having teenage children by the time he turns 40.
Joeboy said his views were partly influenced by Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson, who previously expressed regret over not settling down earlier.
According to the singer, if a person finds someone they genuinely love and the relationship feels right, there is nothing wrong with marrying young.
He, however, stressed that marriage should not be based on age or pressure but on love and readiness.
Joeboy added that if he gets married now, he would not make the news public.
“Personally, I would rather get married early. But if I get married right now, nobody is going to know,” he said.
The singer joked that the public might only discover that he is married after he has had about three children.
“Maybe when I have like three kids, people will now find out that Joeboy has a whole family somewhere,” he added.
