Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has sparked debate after linking women’s happiness and youthful appearance to the quality of their relationships and sex lives.
Iyabo Ojo made the remarks while speaking on The Morayo Show, where she was asked about the secret behind her youthful appearance.
The actress said single mothers could be happy and suggested that some married women may not be enjoying enough intimacy in their relationships.
“We (single mothers) are happy. I think some married women are happy too. I don’t think it’s about being single or being married. I think it’s about the person that you’re with,” Iyabo Ojo said.
She added that sex contributes to a woman’s “glow,” saying, “I’m getting more than enough. Maybe those with marriage certificates aren’t getting enough.”
Iyabo Ojo, who is a mother of two, stressed that happiness in a relationship depends largely on the quality of the partner rather than marital status.
She is currently in a relationship with talent manager Paul Okoye, popularly known as Paul O, and said their relationship is built on mutual understanding, support, and respect.
