Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has flagged off the reconstruction of a 38-kilometre road linking communities in Bindawa and Mani Local Government Areas.

The road, which runs through Bindawa, Dallaje, Doro, and Giremawa to Duwan Junction, is expected to improve access to markets, farms, and essential services. The project is part of Governor Radda’s Building Your Future Agenda.
Governor Radda directed the contractor, Mothercat Construction Company, to complete the project to the required standards within 10 months. He also urged residents of the benefiting communities to cooperate with the contractor to ensure timely delivery.
The Commissioner for Works, Housing, and Transport, Engr. Sani Magaji Ingawa said the ministry would closely monitor construction and enforce quality standards to ensure the road’s durability.
The Chairman of Bindawa Local Government Area, Hon. Badaru Musa, and the District Head of Mani, Alhaji Umar Babani Isah, commended Governor Radda for extending infrastructure projects to rural communities and called for further development.
Meanwhile, Hajiya Jamilau Abdu Mani Mai Goyo, an APC candidate for the Mani–Bindawa Federal Constituency, presented four new vehicles to groups in the two communities during the event.
