FRSC Promotes 104 Personnel in Ekiti, Warns Against Corruption

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ekiti State Command, has promoted and decorated 104 personnel, comprising 25 officers and 79 other ranks.

The decoration ceremonies were held at the Sector Command Headquarters and various unit commands across the state.

Speaking during the exercise, the Sector Commander, Sanya Adeoye, congratulated the promoted personnel and urged them to see their new ranks as a call to greater responsibility.

Adeoye charged them to uphold discipline, professionalism and integrity, warning them against corruption and other conduct that could undermine the image of the Corps.

He also urged the personnel to remain committed to the FRSC’s mandate of reducing road crashes and promoting a culture of road safety.

Adeoye encouraged personnel who were not promoted in the exercise not to lose hope but to remain dedicated to their duties.

The promotion in Ekiti follows the FRSC’s recent nationwide promotion exercise involving 7,472 personnel across the country.

The Sector Commander also appealed to motorists and other road users to obey traffic regulations, particularly as vehicular movement increases towards the end of the year.
