Folashade Tinubu-Ojo Threatens Protest Over APC Primary Results

Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Tinubu and Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, has warned of possible protests following the outcome of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Lagos State.

Speaking during a stakeholders’ meeting in Alausa, Ikeja, she alleged that the exercise was skewed in favour of candidates aligned with the Justice Forum faction of the party.

Tinubu-Ojo questioned the credibility of results declared in several constituencies, including Mushin Federal Constituency II, Agege Constituency II, and Ojokoro, insisting that they did not reflect the actual votes cast.

She called on both state and national leadership of the APC to review the process before final ratification, warning that failure to address the concerns could worsen internal divisions.

According to her, certain aspirants were rightful winners and should be recognised accordingly.

She also criticised the growing factional rivalry between the Justice Forum and the Mandate Group within the party, urging unity among members.

Tinubu-Ojo further expressed support for the governorship ambition of Obafemi Hamzat, while calling for inclusiveness and fairness in party affairs.
