Speaking in an interview with ESPN Brasil on Tuesday, the Brazilian midfielder dismissed any possibility of a contract renewal, stating that his departure is all but certain.
“I don’t think so. It’s clear that I’ll make my decision at the end of the season. There are no chances,” he said.
The former Real Madrid star reflected positively on his spell at Old Trafford, expressing appreciation to the club and its supporters for their backing during his time in England.
Casemiro added that he intends to part ways on a positive note and at a strong point in his career, although he has yet to reveal his next destination.
