Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan delivered a dominant performance to qualify for the women’s 100m hurdles final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The world record holder clocked 12.19 seconds to win her heat, the fastest time ever recorded at the Games, sealing automatic qualification.
South Africa’s Marione Fourie finished second in 12.50s, while Jamaica’s Kerrica Hill came third in 12.69s.
Amusan, the reigning champion, is now on course to secure a third consecutive Commonwealth title and heads into the final as the clear favorite.
