American model and television personality Amber Rose has said she no longer identifies as a feminist, explaining that age and motherhood have changed her perspective on gender issues.
Rose said becoming a mother to sons has made her consider issues affecting both men and women from a broader perspective.
“As I’ve gotten older and now have sons, I’m no longer a feminist. I still believe in girl power, but I see both sides now,” she said.
Despite distancing herself from the feminist label, Rose said she continues to support women’s empowerment and “girl power.”
Her latest comments have sparked debate on social media, with some users supporting her change in perspective while others questioned her understanding of feminism and its focus on gender equality.
Rose has previously spoken publicly about feminism, women’s empowerment, and body positivity. In a 2025 interview, she also discussed moving away from feminism and said her views had changed after reflecting on her experiences with both men and women.
