Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has said men should be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for their partners.
The rapper made the remarks during a recent episode of the In Motion Podcast, where he discussed relationships, marriage, and his Christian faith.
Odumodublvck said his belief is based on the biblical instruction for husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church.
According to him, since Christ died for the Church, a man should also be willing to make the same level of sacrifice for his wife.
“Any man who can’t die for his woman is foolish,” he said.
The rapper also said he expects his wife to outlive him because she is younger, adding that he would want her to manage his wealth and ensure his legacy continues after his death.
“I should die before my wife,” he said, adding that his wife would distribute his wealth among their children and continue his legacy.
Odumodublvck also rejected the perception that he is a misogynist, describing the label as an unfair misconception.
“The biggest misconception about me is that I am a misogynist. It bothers me a lot because it is such an unfair thing to say,” he said.
He argued that his willingness to sacrifice himself for his partner was inconsistent with the label, asking, “I am willing to die for my girlfriend; does that seem like what a misogynist would do?”
