Tems Declares She’s ‘Off the Streets’

Nigerian Grammy-winning singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has said she is “off the streets,” sparking speculation about her love life.

Tems made the comment during a TikTok livestream on Monday while speaking about her experiences with men.

The singer said she was tired of men wasting her time and suggested that she no longer has to deal with such situations.

“I don’t like it when guys waste my time. But for me, never again. I don’t have that problem anymore. I have left the streets; I wouldn’t even say I was ever on the streets,” she said.

However, Tems did not reveal whether she is in a relationship or identify anyone as her partner.

The singer had previously spoken about her experiences with men in a 2024 interview with YouTuber Korty EO, saying some men who approached her appeared more interested in her body than forming genuine connections.
