Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have arrested two brothers suspected of supplying logistics to ISWAP fighters in Borno State.

The suspects, Audu Abdullahi (25) and Shettima Abdullahi (30), were apprehended on July 19 at about 10:30 a.m. in the Nzuda area of Damboa Local Government Area during a farm protection patrol.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed the arrest in a post on X, noting that the operation was carried out by troops of the 19 Battalion (Mechanized) alongside the 25 Task Force Brigade Garrison.
Preliminary findings indicate that the suspects, both from Kasabalari village in Damboa, were transporting supplies intended for ISWAP fighters operating around Wajiroko.
Items recovered from them include two bicycles, a mobile phone with two SIM cards, an identity card, bicycle tyres and tubes, pesticide containers, painkillers, a small solar panel, a rechargeable torchlight, and locally made knives.
The suspects are currently in military custody as investigations continue.
Military authorities say the arrest is part of ongoing efforts to disrupt terrorist supply chains in the North-East. While the security situation remains relatively calm, troops continue to maintain high operational pressure on insurgent groups.
