Nigeria international goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has rejoined South African side Chippa United after an unsuccessful attempt to secure a move elsewhere.
Nwabali had parted ways with the club in February after requesting the termination of his contract. However, the 30-year-old has now returned to the Eastern Cape outfit following months without a new deal.
Chippa United confirmed his return in a brief statement on Sunday, expressing delight at welcoming the shot-stopper back to the team.
Nwabali first joined Chippa United from Katsina United in 2022 and made 66 league appearances during his initial spell with the club.
