Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has said his administration will seek re-election in 2027 based on its record of achievements rather than fresh promises.

Governor Radda stated this during the inauguration of APC Zalla Movement coordinators across the 34 Local Government Areas and 361 wards of the state at the People’s Square, Katsina.
He said voters would be presented with projects and programs executed by his administration as evidence of its performance.
“Today, the people are no longer looking only at promises. In the next election, we will show the people what we have done, not make new promises,” Governor Radda said.
Governor Radda also said every constituency in the state had benefited from at least one project or intervention by his administration.
He charged the newly inaugurated coordinators to work with existing APC structures, strengthen the party at the grassroots, and take information about government programs and achievements directly to communities.
To support the movement’s activities, Governor Radda announced that vehicles would be provided to its three zonal structures for grassroots mobilization.
Former Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, and Katsina State APC Chairman, Bishir Gambo Saulawa, urged the coordinators to remain committed to strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
The Director-General of the APC Zalla Movement, Dr. Bala Nuhu Kankia, said the organization would promote APC policies and create awareness of government interventions in health, education, agriculture, security, and other sectors across the state.
The event was attended by members of the Katsina State Executive Council, APC leaders, political advisers, youth and women leaders, party supporters, and other stakeholders.
